A book on photography needs photographs

I bought this book hoping it would visually, along with the prose, demonstrate the use of the iPhone camera. Unfortunately, there are no photos to illustrate the text. I'd think a book on photography would use photos to show the power of photos as a communication enhancement.
Contents of the book discuss use and characteristics of apps found on the iPhone. Discussions are more descriptions rather than tutorial....hoped for more photo examples to demonstrate app capabilities.

Hanging up my SLR after reading this book.

Over 60, my SLR too heavy to pack for hours while chasing triathletes for "that picture," I began to check out the artful possibilities of the iPhone. Had I taken a class in iPhoneography, I would not have learned everything packed into this afternoon's "read and play" session. I had no idea the standard iPhone camera was such a feature filled tool, nor how to weave through the maze of camera, editing and sharing apps. I hadn't even figured out how to hold the camera. I haven't been this excited about the possibilities of photography since I got my first Brownie Kodak. I am ready for a new career. For me, this book was worth at least 10 times what I paid for it.

Good info for newbies to Iphone photography

I'm sure lots of people are using their iPhones as cameras, and this little ebook will give them ways to enhance, play with and just have fun with their photos before they send them off to friends. I'm pretty new to using my IPhone as a camera, so welcomed the list of apps, along with clear descriptions of each one. I know I'll be doing more with it, now that I've a better grasp of just what it can do. Don't you just love technology!
